President’s Report October 1, 2005
Last month, Penny Inan and Julie Wells stepped up to the plate and took on the huge task of providing trophies for our Specialty to be held in February. Below, I have attached their report. They have done a fantastic job and truly deserve to be commended. Thank you both so much for doing the trophies. The donations were outstanding and I appreciate each member who took it in their hearts to donate.
The ACCC has been donated a beautiful bronze statue designed by Marrita McMillian. She has requested it be designated as a perpetual trophy for the National Specialty. We need suggestions about how to award the trophy. It is 12″ tall 13″ long and 5″ wide; I have also attached a picture of the statue. This is a generous donation, thank you Marrita.
The Board has not yet finalized the Committee assignments. We had a board meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 29th but I had to cancel. We will have our next meeting Thursday, October 6th. There will be more to report from your Board at that time.
