2015 American Chinese Crested Club National – New Venue for our Events 2016 Judges Ballot Mailing delay
Dear American Chinese Crested Club Members, Crested Exhibitors and Fanciers:
Due to the desire to change the venue for 2015, the 2015 Judge Contracts could not be generated until the ACCC Board exhausted all efforts to relocate the 2015 National at the request of many attendees to not return to the Oklahoma City, OK, Biltmore Hotel venue.
An eleventh hour option was presented to the board during the Mar, 2014 Board meeting, consequently a Motion was unanimously passed to move our 2015 ACCC National Specialty Events to the proposed site in Raleigh, North Carolina, providing the Holiday Inn – Crabtree Valley, once inspected by two of our board members attending the Raleigh Shows 3/22/14 was acceptable. According to the report from our two Board Members – “The Hotel is perfect” and was a breath of fresh air as we continued efforts to seek an affordable and desirable new area for the National Specialty Events.
An Invitation has been extended to and accepted by the Tar Heel Chinese Crested Club, Nashville Chinese Crested Club and Chinese Crested Club of the Potomac to join the National Specialty Events. These Regional Specialty Clubs will be holding their 3 Specialty Events prior to the 2 day National Specialty.
The Cluster of events will begin on Tuesday May 12, 2015 with the Welcome Party, Match, etc. and continue through May 17, 2015, Holiday Inn – Crabtree Valley, Raleigh, North Carolina. The Tar Heel Club has agreed to hire the 2015 ACCC Regional Judges for their event to fulfill the members ACCC Regional balloting results of the judge choices.
Mark your calendars and plan to attend all of the events. Plans right now include the Top Twenty on Wednesday and an Agility venue available 30 minutes from the hotel site. Free Shuttle from Airport to Hotel, Crabtree Valley Shopping Mall across from Hotel, and other large shopping Malls and other shopping, sightseeing choices close by. Rooms, $84.00/night – includes the Pet Fee – 4 dog limit per room.
