The ACCC is considered a “working” board that performs not only club fiduciary and strategic duties, but also partners with ACCC Committees to fulfill management and technical functions. The ACCC Board actively participates in ACCC’s daily activities as well as having additional responsibilities. The ACCC Board actively meets (virtually) minimally of once per month.

Bylaw descriptions of the positions open for nomination


The President shall preside at all meetings of the Club and of the Board, and shall have the duties and powers normally appurtenant to the office of President in addition to those particularly specified in these By-laws. The President shall be bonded in an amount determined by the Board of Directors.


The Vice-President shall have the duties and exercise the powers of the President in case of the president’s death, absence, or incapacity. The Vice-President shall be bonded in an amount determined by the Board of Directors.


The Corresponding Secretary shall have charge of the correspondence, notify newly elected applicants of their membership and furnish them with a copy of the Club’s Constitution, By-Laws and Standard of the Breed, notify Officers and Directors of their election to office, keep a roll of the members of the Club with their physical addresses and email addresses, and once a year furnish members with a list of the membership upon written request, issue notices of all meetings, and carry out such duties as are prescribed in these By-laws


General management of the Club’s affairs shall be entrusted to the Board of Directors.
