PEGGY MAY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Peggy May Lifetime Achievement Award – Peggy was incredibly knowledgeable in breeding and showing Chinese Cresteds. She eagerly shared her knowledge with others, always aiming to help them succeed. Peggy was committed to sharing her expertise. She consistently displayed immense respect for other people and took great pleasure in assisting them. Her integrity, humility, kindness, and courage defined her as an outstanding sportsman.

All nominations must be submitted by May 1st of each year. Nominations received after that date will not be considered for the Award. All nomination forms and supporting documentation must be submitted via email to [email protected]

NOMINATIONS FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

Nominees should possess one or more of the following criteria to be a strong candidate for Lifetime Achievement:
Served a minimum of twenty (20) years in the sport with Chinese Cresteds and a minimum of ten (10) years in the ACCC AND who has met three or more of the following criteria:
– Made a major contribution to the breed or has achieved significant accomplishments.
– Demonstrated superior dedication to the Chinese Crested breed.
– Been active in their local and/or National Parent Club.
– Served as a mentor to the Chinese Crested community.
– Developed Chinese Crested education as an author, mentor or judge.
– Provided leadership and volunteer service to the American Chinese Crested Club
– Exemplified characteristics of a good sportsman

To be included with the nomination:
– Detailed list of services that indicate years of service and positions held on committees and/or any other volunteer positions.
– A written explanation as to why the nominator(s) believes the individual to be a candidate for the award.
• In what ways did the individual contribute to the advancement of the sport
• If applicable, Are there important achievements the individual has as a breeder, handler or judge?
• Any additional information that may support the nomination
