Stud Dog Showcase
The ACCC Stud Dog Showcase is a new meet‑and‑greet where attendees can visit each stud dog’s space, ask questions, and learn about their pedigree, health, temperament, and breeding availability.
Monday, June 29th during the Welcome Party. $20 entry fee per participating stud dog. Deadline to enter your stud dog(s) is June 5th. Spectators are welcome to attend at no charge. The Showcase provides a consistent way for attendees to review each dog’s pedigree, health, temperament, and breeding history, supporting open communication and informed breeding practices within the Chinese Crested community. The ACCC Stud Dog Showcase provides breeders and enthusiasts with structured, consistent information about participating stud dogs. These guidelines outline what exhibitors should prepare, how spaces will be organized, and what to expect during the event. The goal is to create an informative, safe, and accessible environment that supports thoughtful breeding decisions and highlights the qualities of each dog.
Purpose
This event provides a standardized way for attendees to learn about each stud dog’s pedigree, health, temperament, and breeding history. It supports open communication among breeders and encourages thoughtful, well-informed breeding practices within the Chinese Crested community.
Required & Recommended Materials
Exhibitors may prepare a handout or display that includes:
Pedigree and Health Testing
- CHIC number, DNA results, and relevant certifications.
Date of Birth and Photos
- Puppy and adult photos are encouraged.
Titles and Achievements
- Conformation, performance, therapy, or other accomplishments.
Temperament and Trainability
- Key traits that reflect the dog’s personality and working style.
Breeding Information
- Number of litters and champion offspring (if applicable)
- Availability: live cover, fresh chilled, frozen
- Traits consistently passed on (coat, movement, structure, personality) Offspring Showing at National
If any progeny are entered, list registered name, class, and event.
Materials should be clear, easy to read, and helpful for attendees taking notes or comparing dogs.
