VICE PRESIDENT
VICE PRESIDENT
Steve Kelly, New Mexico
I have owned Chinese Cresteds for the past 32 years breeding under the kennel name of
Puffin. During that time I have bred over 50 AKC champions finishing many of those from the
bred-by class. I became licensed by AKC to judge the breed in 1998.
I joined the ACCC in 1995 and have served as vice president and president in the past and
am currently serving as vice president again. I have attended 23 ACCC nationals. I also
belong to the Afghan Hound parent club and have belonged to two all breed clubs where I
served on their boards in the past.
I currently participate in conformation and coursing events with my cresteds. In the past I
bred four generations of champion afghan hounds where I participated in conformation,
obedience and coursing.
I am a retired elementary school teacher and principal, and besides the dogs my free time
is taken up with an iris farm where I hybridize new varieties of flowers.
